Wiidollars
Ok, so I ran across this website www.wiidollars.com which claims to send you free wii point cards with each issue of their magazine. Sounds too good to be true since 1 issue of the magazine cost just $4 and 1 wii point card containing 2000 points cost $25. Well I went out on a limb and purchased the magazine to see if this is for real or not. I placed my order on 12/31/2008 and have yet to receive anything or receive any type of communication from wiidollars. I will keep this site updated if and when I receive anything.

**UPDATE** I have emailed "info@wiidollars.com" on 1/14/2009 to check on the status of my order and to provide a tracking number. I wouldn't order from this company until someone can post actual pictures of the magazine.
**UPDATE - 1/27/09** I received the following two emails from WiiDollars:

So far the tracking number comes up as "There is no record of this item."

**UPDATE - 2/03/09** So last night my tracking number was still coming up as "There is no record of this item." So I sent another email to Mike at wiidollars. He promptly responded saying he would check on my order right away and said it was sent on the 2nd. This morning I checked and my status is now:
Status: Electronic Shipping Info ReceivedThe U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on February 2, 2009 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.
So something is in the mail. We will wait and see what.
**UPDATE - 2/05/09** I received my package. And to my not so surprised self, no magazine. The contents were a classic controller and a wii 2000 points card (packaged in the normal packaging, not as pictured on his website). The items were shipped from amazon.com. The packing slip shows the order was placed on January 24, 2009 (24 days after my order was placed), the same date as my first response from Mike Labey telling me my order was “processed” and “mailed”. Also, the billing address on the slip is not from West 12th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5Y 1V4 listed on the wiidollars website. It was from Artesia, CA 90701. The points card was purchased for $19.49 and the controller was purchased for $17.96 for a total of $37.45. This is $12.46 more than I paid for the magazines, but I purchased 12 wii point cards and 12 magazines. We will see if any magazines come and if any more wii point cards arrive.
I sent the following email this morning to Mike at payments@wiidollars.com this morning. He has responded the same day on my other emails. I am awaiting his response.

This is where the picture of the wii points came from. They simply cropped out the "gamepointsnow" logo.
**UPDATE - 3/23/09** On 3/19/09 I sent an email to "Mike" at payments@wiidollars.com asking for any updates on the magazine or future point cards. Still no response yet.
